Top-10 finish in Turkey Bowl XIX in Late Model at Springfield Raceway
For the first time in nearly three months, Tim Ward returned to Late Model competition over the weekend, traveling to Springfield Raceway (Mo.) to pilot his Toby K’s Hideaway No. 4TW entry in the Turkey Bowl XIX.
With a strong 70-car field on hand, Ward impressed early by charging from 12th to 3rd in his heat race to secure a spot in the $6,000-to-win A-Main. He capped his return to the Late Model ranks with a consistent run in Saturday’s 30-lap finale, recording a seventh-place finish against a competitive field.
