Tim Ward Banks $5,022 Charlie Clark Memorial at Park Jeff

Tim Ward’s string of strong outings in the Doug and Amy Eckrich-owned No. 151 Performer Chassis Modified continued over the weekend, as the Arizona native picked up his fourth win of the season in South Dakota.

Ward crossed the Iowa border on Friday to compete in the Charlie Clark Race Weekend Classic at Park Jefferson Speedway — a two-day program featuring a pair of complete shows. He opened the doubleheader with an 18th-to-10th run in the feature after transferring through a B-Main.

Returning on Saturday, Ward charged from ninth to fourth in his heat to earn a starting spot near the front of the finale. He rolled off fourth and took command on lap 34, leading the rest of the way to score the $5,022 victory. Ward crossed the line 0.406 seconds ahead of Tripp Gaylord, with Cody Laney finishing third.
