Ward scores three podiums in Race for Hope 71 at Batesville
Tim Ward returned to the driver's seat of the Doug and Amy Eckrich-owned No. 151 Performer Chassis Modified this past weekend, taking on the ninth annual Race for Hope 71 at Batesville Motor Speedway.
With preliminary features held Thursday and Friday ahead of Saturday’s $4,000-to-win main event, Ward delivered a consistent performance throughout the three-day event. He opened the weekend with a runner-up finish on Thursday and followed it up with a solid third-place showing on Friday.
In Saturday’s finale, Ward advanced two positions to secure a second-place finish, capping off a strong weekend. He joined race winner Zane DeVilbiss on the podium, with Tom Berry Jr. rounding out the top three.
