Top-5 finish at Cedar Lake Speedway
With Mother Nature washing out his original plans, Tim Ward headed north to Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway for the 38th annual USA Nationals weekend.
Competing in the Local Late Model division, which served as the undercard to the World of Outlaws’ crown jewel event, Ward opened the weekend with a 14th-place finish on Thursday.
He posted his best run of the weekend on Friday, driving to a consistent fourth-place finish behind Ashley Anderson, Adam Hensel, and Nick Panitzke, while Dave Flynn rounded out the top five.
Ward’s weekend wrapped up with a 12th-place showing in Saturday’s USA Nationals finale.
