Tim Ward storms to fourth-place finish in Rallen Zeitner Memorial
Tim Ward made a single start over the weekend, joining a stout field of Malvern Bank West & East Series competitors for the third annual Rallen Zeitner Memorial at Shelby County Speedway.
After a slow start to the night, Ward found speed as the program progressed. He advanced from a sixth-place heat race finish to a runner-up effort in his B-Main, earning a spot in the $10,076-to-win A-Main.
Lining up 20th on the grid, Ward charged forward 16 positions to notch a strong fourth-place finish. He crossed the line behind Dylan Thornton, Jesse Sobbing, and Dallon Murty, with Jason Hahne rounding out the top five.
