Top-10 finish with Malvern Bank East Series at Lafayette County Speedway
Tim Ward kicked off a Late Model doubleheader weekend on Friday at Wisconsin’s Lafayette County Speedway, where the Malvern Bank East Series sanctioned the evening’s program.
With 20 entries on hand, Ward secured a spot in the feature by charging from third to first in his heat race. Battling for a $3,000 top prize in the main event, he recorded an eighth-place finish.
The following night, Ward returned to Iowa to compete at Winneshiek Raceway. After grabbing the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race, he lined up for another $3,000-to-win feature and came away with a 12th-place finish in the 40-lap finale.
