Pair of top-10's with Malvern Bank East Series
A pair of Malvern Bank East Series events in Iowa over the weekend delivered solid results for Harcourt, Iowa’s Tim Ward.
On Friday at C.J. Speedway, Ward secured a runner-up finish in his heat race before advancing one position in the feature to finish eighth in the Tony Stewart Tribute.
Returning to action on Saturday at Lee County Speedway for another $3,000-to-win program, Ward impressed with a sixth-to-second charge in his heat race to lock into the main event. He wrapped up the weekend with a strong fifth-place finish in the feature, trailing only Dallon Murty, Dylan Thornton, Jesse Sobbing, and Chad Simpson at the checkers.
