10th-place showing with Malvern Bank East at Maquoketa Speedway
Losing Friday's Malvern Bank weekend opener to Mother Nature, Tim Ward made the trip to Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway on Friday night instead.
Finishing fourth in his heat race, Ward started eighth in the 25-lap Modified feature but faded to finish 16th.
Pulling out the No. 4TW Late Model for the remainder of the holiday weekend, Ward joined the Malvern Bank East Series at Maquoketa (Iowa) Speedway on Saturday afternoon to kick off a doubleheader through Iowa.
Ward earned the pole position for the 30-lap, $3,000-to-win main event but was unable to keep the top position and finished 10th. Tim wrapped up Memorial Day weekend with a 19th-place outing on Sunday afternoon at Dubuque (Iowa) Fairgrounds Speedway.
