Tim Ward bests Modified Summer Challenge Series at Park Jefferson

A doubleheader weekend in South Dakota kicked off for Tim Ward on Sunday evening with the Modified Summer Challenge Series event at Interstate Speedway (Jefferson, S.D.).

Pinned on the eighth row for the feature via a sixth-place heat finish, Ward advanced forward eight spots to claim an eighth-place finish.

Just down the road at Park Jefferson Speedway (Jefferson, S.D.) on Monday, Tim raced his way into the A-Main with a seventh-to-fourth heat showing. Despite getting sentenced to eighth on the starting grid for the feature, Ward outran pole-starting Joel Rust in the 30-lap affair to secure his 14th win of the 2024 campaign. He took the checkers ahead of Rust, Chris Abelson, Cody Thompson, and Kyle Brown.
