Tim Ward joins World of Outlaws at Independence and

Before heading over to Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the three-day Dairyland Showdown, Tim Ward joined the World of Outlaws Late Model Series as they made a stop at Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Tuesday.

Finishing fifth in his last chance showdown, Ward just missed the Tuesday night special and moved onto a pair of preliminary nights. Tim was unable to make a preliminary feature on Thursday or Friday and then missed the $40,000 finale on Saturday.
